I began my journey with astrology as a child. My Abuela taught me the fundamentals of signs, planets and houses. It was then that I fell in love with astrology as a system of creating meaning about our lives as we move through time, and as a way to feel interconnected with the cosmos.
Since then, I’ve studied it independently, and draw on multiple forms of astrology in my practice. Above all, my astrological practice is informed by Black feminist ethics and care. It is about finding stories in our chart to hold ourselves through the difficulties of living in this world.
Astrology can help us embrace our path, connect to our values and our dreams, and tend to collective visions. It can help us find compassion and courage. And it can be a entry point into relation: we all live under the same sun, moon and stars.
